Jane Stricker
Jane Stricker is a senior energy executive and board director with more than two decades of experience developing effective strategies and driving organizations to succeed in complex, high-stakes environments. She brings deep expertise in energy transition strategy, market development, stakeholder management and communications, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and capital strategy, with a reputation for delivering exceptional results. Most recently, Jane served as the Executive Director of the Houston Energy Transition Initiative, building a globally recognized industry coalition that catalyzed more than $4.4bn in new energy investment while re-positioning Houston as a global hub for energy and climate innovation, investment and thought leadership. Jane spent more than two decades at BP in senior leadership roles spanning strategy, regulatory compliance, corporate finance, and governance.
Jane has a BA in Political Science from University of Maryland at Baltimore, and an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. In addition to the BCarbon board, Jane serves on the board of Greentown Labs, North America’s largest energy and climate incubator. She also serves on the advisory boards of Special Olympics Texas and the Brazil Texas Chamber of Commerce and is a Professor of Practice at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
