Our Contributors

BCarbon is committed to including a wide variety of perspectives in its process and vision for the future. To this end, the BCarbon Advisory Group is highly inclusive and invites engagement from all involved or interested in our work. Members of our BCarbon Advisory Group are referred to as Contributors.

Currently, the BCarbon Advisory Group is comprised of 800+ members and nine active specialized advisory groups. All members of specialized groups are also part of the general BCarbon Advisory Group. Our contributors come from diverse backgrounds and industries, producing dialogue that advances carbon market solutions that are aligned with industry needs, scientific best practices, and conservation goals. Our Group meets every other month to discuss developments in the carbon market, advise us on new protocols or protocol updates, and provide feedback on BCarbon’s ongoing projects. Contributors include landowners, government officials, environmental professionals, academics, members of industry, and philanthropists among others.
