The inaugural BCarbon Soil Carbon Summit is a one-day conference dedicated to advancing the science, stewardship, and markets of soil carbon. Hosted by BCarbon, the Summit aims to bring together researchers, landowners, project developers, corporate sustainability professionals, carbon credit buyers, policymakers, and conservation organizations to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of soil carbon.
As voluntary carbon markets continue to evolve, the need for scientifically rigorous, transparent, and scalable soil carbon projects has never been greater. The Summit is designed to foster meaningful dialogue across disciplines by connecting the latest scientific research with practical land management and market perspectives. Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, participants will examine topics ranging from soil carbon measurement and emerging research to land stewardship practices, carbon market trends, and investment in nature-based climate solutions.
BCarbon's unique role as both a nonprofit carbon registry and carbon research center provides the foundation for this convening. The Summit reflects BCarbon's commitment to advancing high-quality science while supporting credible, outcome-based carbon projects that benefit landowners, markets, and the environment. By bringing together leaders from across the soil carbon ecosystem, the BCarbon Soil Carbon Summit aims to strengthen collaboration, promote innovation, and help shape the future of soil carbon as a trusted climate solution.
