As a Carbon registry, BCarbon must respond to a large number of factors including government activity and legislation, especially regarding the voluntary carbon market. Our stakeholders in government can help bring proposed or recently implemented changes to our attention, provide feedback on BCarbon projects, or share their perspective on BCarbon’s work or the voluntary carbon market at large. Our stakeholders in government include representatives from international, national, state, and local levels of government, including indigenous representation. We deeply value their perspectives in helping BCarbon to navigate the many elements of our work.
